We’ll kick things off with a short introductory call, where I’ll ask you about your business and the purpose you need your website to serve. If I’m confident I can help you, we’ll schedule a follow-up to dig into the specifics that are going to help you reach your website goals.
Once I have the necessary details and a clear idea of the project scope, I’ll send you a proposal along with a quote. Our next step is to establish the site architecture by creating a sitemap outlining the layout, navigation and purpose of each page. You’ll also receive a brand board and prototype that will act as a design system for the rest of the project. This also ensures an aligned vision before getting into the website design phase.
Once you’re happy with your initial prototype – I’ll continue building out the rest of the site with a focus on both desktop and mobile to ensure responsive web design. You’ll review what I’ve created throughout the process and give me your unfiltered feedback on each page before we get into the web development phase.
The step where we move from a design to a fully responsive website. After initial development is complete, I’ll go through a round of rigorous performance testing to nail down functionality and user experience. My goal is to build you a website that can continually adapt and grow with your business, so you won’t have to worry about rebuilding it again.
Once the website meets both of our standards, I’ll run it through an extensive pre-launch checklist to make sure everything is on point before it goes live. This includes security precautions, user testing, a site-wide SEO audit and configuration Google Analytics. You’ll also receive site documentation along with a video walkthrough of the back end and post launch support for 30 days.
